I, Jasmyn S. Allen, am a proud native of Jackson, Mississippi, and a dedicated psychiatric mental health nurse with over 17 years of experience in the nursing field. I am passionate about mental health advocacy and education, and I am committed to providing quality care to the Jackson community. I earned my Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) diploma from Hinds Community College in 2008, followed by an Associate Degree in Nursing in 2010. I went on to earn my BSN from Chamberlain University and later completed my Doctorate in psychiatry at the University of Southern Mississippi.

As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I am driven by a mission to empower individuals through education, understanding, and support, particularly for those with limited access to mental health resources. My professional philosophy emphasizes the transformative power of knowledge and experience in fostering positive mental health outcomes.

Alongside my achievements, I have consistently served my community. My leadership in community service, particularly in advancing mental health education and providing compassionate care for those in need, exemplifies my passion for making a meaningful difference. My journey is a testament to the impact one individual can have through lifelong learning, family dedication, and unwavering service to others.
